Devised Project by Know Theatre of Cincinnati

Over the winter of 2020 The Know Theatre of Cincinnati decided to create a multimedia interactive online experience, centered around lighthouses and the hope they bring to weary travelers. It was an online choose your own adventure video. I chose to make a video showcasing the diorama/model that I designed. The video was a combination of a time lapse of myself making the model, which included pouring resin and doing papier-mâché, and using a camera to shoot the model from above and below.

This show had three different directors, was filmed in 4 different locations, and had both live streamed and prerecorded elements. We brought set pieces, props, costumes, and actors (included one goat from a local petting farm) to each location to film. Each location had its own challenges- including building a stage in an old historic theatre, setting up a massive green screen, and setting up a lighting and sound rig.
