The Cherry Orchard was a complicated, but exciting play to be a props master for. My fellow props masters and I had to buy 4 chandeliers and fix up the one large one we had in stock. We had to rent audience chairs from an event company. We had to find very expensive looking early 20th century Russian furniture and hand props, along with children's toys. I got to reupholster two small children's chairs.
