This free summer program at BU had limited budget and time, but a couple of us decided to produce a show about science, magic, and loss. This show took place on a farm in the midwest, so the set had a very rustic, homey, growing up from the earth kind of feeling. One interesting challenge we had was making an Ouiji board planchette start spinning on its own, which was achieved by a spinning motor underneath the board, and operated from offstage.
