Delayed by Covid, Shock! turned into a filmed production that was available online. It was also the first show that the Know Theatre had an indoor audience for in over a year. Shock took place on a 1950s low budget horror host tv studio set. The props and set decor for this show were a lot of fun to create, between rigging fake bats to fly down from the ceiling, researching old horror classics, and playing with cartoony halloween decorations. In the film production, some of the scenes were edited to be black and white, to reflect the real tv show broadcast conditions, meaning the paint treatment for the set needed to be over the top and campy in order to read.
