This show is about parenthood, and the time during the night when parents are desperately trying to get their child to sleep. The parents discuss their fears raising a child in a world rapidly being affected by climate change. The set reflects that world- debris, trash, frightening newspaper articles, and distressed, falling apart furniture. The lighting design for the show was stunning, and relied mostly on the practicals in the scenic design. We used set pieces from a previous production and distressed them, the goal being to show a ruined, falling apart theatre space in which this story was being told.
